This book has steamy scenes, sarcasm, and heart. Couldn't put this read down!Looking across the bar who would have guessed Nash was anything more than just another guy who wanted to get lucky, not Bailey. She had a rough night and was not about to put the welcome mat out for every man in the bar. Just when she thought a low blow to his ego would keep her out of his sights, he strolls over. Ready to give all the fight she's got, Bailey puts on the gloves. That is, until he takes her back to his house.
She had to be out of her mind, but neither could deny the sexual tension between them. Nash wakes up and realizes she's slipped away while he was sleeping. Grab a copy to find out what happens when the two of them come face to face again. This was a great read and highly recommended. Enjoy!

I so totally loved Nash & Bailey's story. It was a perfect example of Alison Bliss' style of writing. Romance with lots of laughter and even some tears. Strong hero as well as heroine. Just an all around great story that I would recommend to anyone!
I did not expect the story to go the way it dead but it made me very happy. I am a hopeless romantic so I was cheering for Nash & Bailey the whole story. Things didn't start out "normal" for them but love at first sight happens. I was nervous towards the end but everything worked out for the best.
Cute, cliche and instalove (or lust?). I loved Nash. He knew what he wanted and wouldn't let anything stop him. Bailey was ok. I just didn't connect with her. She seemed kinda obnoxious. I scanned some parts. I really needed an epilogue or just a little more of the story. The ending felt abrupt.
I wanted the birth in the HEA! After the positive, negative, positive we earned it.
Good story, strong, beautiful hero and heroine, sexy, steamy not erotic but good, no cliffhanger, HEA, yes. Cheating but not what you think. I don't read cheating books but this is an exception.
Nash and Bailey are the two most stubborn, obstinate, frustrating people EVER! Oh my goodness, people, just SAY what's on your mind already! But no. Instead they keep everything close to the vest and run away at every opportunity. But it's still a fun story and I enjoyed reading it. Still, it's not as good as her Tangled in Texas series.
Short and sweet comes to mind on this book. I really liked Nash and Bailey and their chemistry was pretty good. The story jumps right in and moves at a very quick pace. This is not the most profound book by any means but I really did end up enjoying it for what it was. A quick, sexy and funny romance with just enough angst and just enough steam to keep things interesting!
Sweet, really enjoyable standalone novel. Rules of Protection was my first book from Alison Bliss and I really liked her writing stye. A few days ago I was looking for something to read on vacation and was happy to see this new release. It was the perfect read, with a loveable heroine and a swoony hot guy with a sweet ending and a lot of enjoyable moment between them. If you are a romance reader looking for something sweet and low angsty, give this story a chance )
